Steven Auerbach brings more than 20 years of executive experience to his role as President of Connextions Inc. and ConnextionsHealth. He has overall management responsibility – including strategy development, client services, operations and sales – for the company’s sites in Florida, North Carolina and Indiana, and its more than 3000 employees.

Steve previously served as Executive Vice President of Operations at UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UHG), where he oversaw 10,000 professionals providing service to more than 25 million consumers and 650,000 physicians. His broad range of responsibilities at the nation’s 2nd largest health insurer included domestic and international call centers, claims processing, quality assurance, training, capacity planning, account management and Internet solutions.

Previously, Mr. Auerbach worked at Aetna, and spent five years at CIGNA working in the sales support, underwriting and information systems areas. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, he spent three years at ChannelPoint, a leading B2B service company providing health, life and P&C insurers with real-time access to their distribution channels.

Steve has served on the boards of AmeriChoice of NY and UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from the University of Hartford. He also studied Quality Management and Performance Improvement at the Juran Institute.
