Facilities

Connextions operates three state-of-the-art, highly secure and HIPAA-compliant customer contact centers – in Florida, North Carolina and Indiana – where web, direct mail, telecommunications, distribution and data communications functions are integrated into an end-to-end service capability. Dedicated, secure space is available for private branding by individual clients, to foster teamwork, learning and communication.

In addition to our more than 2,500 team members, our contact centers also house a large staff of highly trained insurance agents – cross-licensed in all 50 states – who are qualified to assist with the sale, enrollment and servicing of our clients' insurance plan members. Our clinically experienced Registered Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to monitor the health status of our clients' patients via phone, fax and the internet.

NCQA and URAC Requirements

Our comprehensive services have been designed to exceed the existing standards of the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission. Verification that our processes are proven ensures that our evidence-based protocols are applied in a consistent and appropriate fashion.

HIPAA Compliance

We maintain compliance with HIPAA's standards for electronically sending and receiving statutory transactions. Our operations with respect to HIPAA privacy policies, procedure notices, and consents / authorizations are in compliance with those practices outlined in the final rule. Our licensed agents are trained and closely supervised in order to meet the marketing practices established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Additionally, our internet connections are all secured with SSL and 128-bit encryption, and all data access is controlled with role-based security passwords expiring monthly at network, application and database levels.
